Jimmy's Controller is a joy-stick like contraption belonging to Jimmy Z. It has a number of functions, although it mainly serves as a means of teleportation. It made its first appearance in the Season 1 episode "Mom of a Croc".
Physical Appearance[]
Jimmy's controller resembles a typical joystick, consisting of a light-blue handle adorned with dark-blue ridges which allow Jimmy to maintain a firm grasp on it, with a red button on top, along with a metal base.
Capabilities[]
While it still functions like any typical video game controller, Jimmy's controller has a particular function unique to itself; teleportation. The handle/joystick is used to guide items to their designated target or location, while the button is pressed in order to actually teleport them. Also, Aviva made it immune to many substances, such as water and pudding. In addition to all of the above, Jimmy has also used it to control much of the Wild Kratts' technology, such as the Guineafowl Flappers, Flycams, Fish Cams, and much more.
Trivia[]
- A running gag in the series is just how ridiculously cautious Jimmy is concerning his controller's safety - examples include him polishing it in "Flight of the Draco", and in "Masked Bandits", when he stored it inside of his personal safe, only to have it be stolen by raccoons.
- It cannot be used to teleport living beings; only inanimate objects.
- The controller was accidentally tossed into the ocean by Martin in "Seasquatch".
- In "Elephant in the Room", Jimmy's controller was destroyed when Thornsley crushed it with his foot while running.
- In "A Creature Christmas", Aviva's Christmas present for Jimmy was a hovering holder for his controller.
- In "Puffin Rescue", Jimmy hallucinates that the controller is talking to him. During these scenes, Jonathan Malen, Jimmy's voice actor, provides the speech clips for the controller.
