Jimmy Z is a member of the Wild Kratts crew. He is the main pilot of the Tortuga HQ and operates the ship's teleporter, often teleporting the Creature Power Discs, along with various other equipment, to the Kratt brothers.
Personality
Jimmy Z is not as knowledgeable about animals as the rest of the crew and is often shown to be quite nervous. He cannot live without his game controller, which he uses to teleport items and Creature Power Discs to the Kratts when they are on their adventures. He sometimes helps Aviva with inventions by handing her the items she needs as she works, and usually has hilarious results when he helps her test the prototype, such as when they were trying to figure out the formula for bioluminesce and his hair turned green in the episode "Fireflies." He does not have a Creature Power Suit, but his Creature Pod and scuba gear are both orange. He is easily frightened.
Physical Appearance
Jimmy is a young man of average height, with reddish-orange hair and light blue eyes. He usually wears a blue-green baseball cap worn backwards, a grey t-shirt with a video game character on it, a white, long-sleeved shirt worn underneath, red plaid shorts, and white tennis shoes with a slight lean build. He has notable facial hair on his chin - known as a "goatee" - along with some freckles. In "Capture the Fishmobile", he wore a brown/orange wetsuit that was similar to both Chris and Martin's before the addition of the Wild Kratts insignia.

Abilities
Although he is not a "creature adventuring type" guy, and his knowledge in science and technology is limited, without Jimmy, the Wild Kratts crew would not get very far. By teleporting necessary equipment, and acting as an assistant and lab rat, Jimmy helps guarantee that the Kratt brothers' adventures will go smoothly, that Aviva and Koki can build their inventions, that creatures will be rescued, and that the villains will be stopped. He also has exceptional piloting skills, seeing as he is the main pilot of the Tortuga.
