Tusker is a bull hippo named by Martin because of his tusk like teeth. He is the leader of a pod of hippos in the river of the African savanna and the most aggressive of all making sure everyone knows that this is his stretch of river, even the crocodiles.
He had to deal with another bull hippo, a challenger who wanted to take over his part of the river. So he battled him with his teeth,in the end Tusker won defending his territory.
